While I’ve been literally waiting for paint to dry, I’ve also been working up some new drawings. Here’s Pterodactylus Probing, inspired by the illustrations of Bob Bakker (I suppose “Sand Person” would also have worked as a title).

Grotesque

Here’s my piece from the “Meat!” show, “Grotesque.” The work had to be meat-themed, so I painted a portrait of Tom Hanks’ wiggly hamface. Prints are available here!

Events!
This Thursday night is the opening of “Meat!,” a meat-themed art show at Meltdown in Los Angeles. I’ll have a brand-new piece and there will also be pieces from people like Julia Vickerman and Michael Kupperman. And they will have refreshments! It runs till March 17th, I believe.

AND THEN the next day in Seattle, running through Sunday the 6th, is the Emerald City Comic-Con! I’ll be on the fourth floor at booth #202 with a bunch of other Topatoco dudes, and I’ll have prints & shirts & Nic Cage sets & other treasures for sale. Click here for a map and more info!

Origin Story
The interview I did at the Smodcastle a couple weeks ago is up here (episode #89, direct mp3 download is here and you can also find it on itunes). There’s twenty or thirty minutes of “banter” before I come on, and I think once we get off the topic of Transformers it turns into a pretty good interview.

Mini-Valentines
I turned eight of the more popular SVU Valentines into a set of teeny little mini-Valentines, like the kind you might hand out in school (they even have “To:” and “From:” printed on the back). $10 + shipping gets you 8 cards plus cute lil’ envelopes, and they ship ASAP through Priority Mail in the US.

Metalhawk
Click through to check out a new drawing, Metalhawk. Soon he’ll be available as a rad metallic t-shirt from Topatoco (it’s all hands on deck over there to get orders out for the holidays, though, so it might end up being an after-Christmas T-shirt). Enjoy!
