The JP Show opens this weekend at Nucleus in Alhambra (just east of LA). That’s the humans-of-Jurassic Park art show curated by myself and Julia Vickerman. I’ve uploaded some preview images to get you pumped, such as the one above, Ian Malcolm: From Chaos by John Larriva, or Lisa Hanwalt’s Jurassic Jeff:
More preview art can be found here! The show will be on-view all day Saturday and Sunday in Nucleus’ upper gallery (poster and map), with a reception starting at 6:00 pm on Saturday. Join us for lots affordable art, amber jello shots, and adventure! And we will be able to take credit cards for any purchases!

Sending cards to loved ones has always been a cornerstone of T-mas (alongside writing up your Pity List and decorating the Fool). “Joy” comes in packages of 5 cards plus 5 red envelopes. Cards measure 6” x 4.25” and have a cardstock finish that’s great for writing on—perfect for Thank You notes, gift tags, etc. Order now and they will be sent out to you ASAP! Limited quantities of past T-mas designs are also available!

I’ve made life-size prints of Bad Day on the High Sea and other popular and sold-out (or nearly sold-out) designs. Each one is hand-signed and numbered on beautiful Museo paper. These are intended to be the ultimate artist editions. But don’t worry, TopatoCo still carries a huge assortment of affordable wide-format prints, in both standard paper stocks and ultra-fancy canvas (How about a sofa-sized No One Wants to Play Sega With Harrison Ford?).

My sister wanted this on her car, so I made one. I’m trying to gauge interest in a larger run of stickers, so if you might want to buy one at some point, please e-mail me, brandonbird@gmail.com.
Also, check out this classic GB art experience from 2005.

This weekend I’ll be hunkering down with a pile of merchandise at my buddy Chris Hastings’ (creator of Dr. McNinja) table at the Comikaze Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Look for Table #30! And I will be able to take credit cards! Exciting!
