It’s hit the trades so I guess I can say it: I have a book coming out through Chronicle Books! It’ll feature everything you expect from an “art of” book: color reproductions of paintings, stickers, pull-out postcards, and coloring & activity pages. Lots and lots of coloring. There will be new work, old work, and of course, adventure and surprises! Coming Fall 2013 to bookstores everywhere, for a low gift-giving price!

Thanks to everyone who visited the TopatoCo booth at the Calgary Expo! (And thanks to Calgary for being a clean and polite city of the future.) We put the money we earned to good use, and now have this wonderful keepsake photo.

Next weekend I’ll be tabling with TopatoCo at the Calgary Comic Expo along with Ryan North, David Malki!, Kate Beaton, Christopher Hastings, and Jeph Jacques. There will be friendly faces, things to buy, and all the Star Treks will be there too.

Here’s a thing that happened: Signifier and Signified was transformed into a billboard along 1-15 near Corona last month as part of the Billboard Art Project. I believe they’re taking submissions now for 2012.

“Nuclear Family” stickers are here and ready to order! Stickers measure 8.75” x 5”, and are silkscreened on kiss-cut clear vinyl using white and black ink (so they’ll show up if you want to stick them on something other than a car window, like the enormous printer below).

The JP Show opens this weekend at Nucleus in Alhambra (just east of LA). That’s the humans-of-Jurassic Park art show curated by myself and Julia Vickerman.
